My client had been wearing her engagement ring daily for the past 50 years . The gold was very worn out and she had already lost one of her emeralds. The best solution in order to avoid losing more or the ring breaking, was to remake a completely new ring, using family gold and the 2 stones she still had.
The result ? A new treasure sturdy enough to last another 50+ years - and over all keeping the spirit and emotions of her beloved ring intact.
Reunited : This pearl earring had lost its other side alter egowhich teh client wanted to replace.
My job: Sourcing matching cultured pearls and diamond, making a new earring to match, to the delight of my client who enjoys wearing her family heirloom again.
Transformation: Starting from several no longer worn jewels, we created a one of a kind mixed metals 22ct, 18ct yellow and white gold band set with the diamonds recycled from the client's old pieces.
Remodelling: The client had an existing thin platinum band and had sourced a gorgeous red spine gemstone. I made a set a stacking rings with antique rose cut diamonds and a luscious red spinel solitaire which can be styled together or worn individually.
