Terms and Conditions

Bonjour !
I love to do custom orders, in fact I find the challenge of bespoke very exciting! If you have an idea in mind for your own jewellery design, or you would like a different color, stone, precious metal, please just ask : )

DELIVERIES, POSTAGE AND PACKING
I ship worldwide.
All stock items are securely packaged, ready to offer as a gift and shipped within 5-7 business days (unless custom order) of receiving payment when in stock, using Royal Mail. (https://www.royalmail.com). 
If you need it sooner, or recorded please contact me

Please allow extra days for weekends and bank holidays. If there is a delay for any other reason I will inform you.

I always obtain Proof of postage.

Deliveries take approximately 2-10 days within the UK for items in stock and up to 15-25 business days around the world, at present. An upgrade to a faster courrier might be possible, please  do get in touch.

All delivery times are subject to the availability of the courier. The delivery times stated above are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Catherine Marche Jewellery and/or the courier are not liable for any delays or responsible for any compensation if orders arrive outside of the estimated timeframe.

The customer is responsible for any import duties or customs taxes for international orders.

Fabrication time for custom orders varies.

PAYMENT
I accept payment via PayPal and bank transfer.

All payments should be made by the end of 7 days one an order is placed.

Production will begin once the payment is received.

Please email me if there will be a problem or delay for any reason.

OWNERSHIP
The jewellery remains my property until payment has been made in full.
I retain design rights, licencing rights, and copyright where applicable, of every piece of jewellery I make. Copyright protection automatically arises when original works are created.

INSURANCE
I do offer insurance at an extra cost.
Insurance is not mandatory, as I have chosen to keep the shipping costs lower. Insurance is up to the buyer, just let me know what you'd like!

RETURNS and REFUNDS

Ready-to-wear items purchased online can be returned for a full refund minus postage if they are sent back unworn, in original packaging and in perfect condition within 14 working days.  Include your order number and contact details inside the package. 

It is important to note that bespoke, commissioned, made-to-order, and customized pieces (such as resized rings) are exempt from all refund and exchange policies.

Please ensure you use a tracked and signed method of postage, original packaging and compensation for the value of the item being returned, and obtain a proof of posting.

For reasons of hygiene, we cannot accept returns on pierced earrings, or other items of piercing jewellery.

As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will affect these legal rights.
You will need to send the item back to me in its original condition for a refund within 14  days of receiving the jewellery.

I do not refund for returns that are lost in the post, you will have to claim from the postal service yourself if this ever occurs.

CUSTOM ORDERS

A non-refundable 50 percent fee is required as confirmation for all bespoke, made-to-order, and customized pieces before production begins. Once this fee is paid, the order is considered a commitment to purchase and cannot be cancelled. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the jewellery is collected or dispatched.

I own full copyright of any work produced and reserve the right to repeat a similar design.

WARRANTY 

Every piece comes with a one year warranty against manufacturing faults from the date of purchase. This warranty becomes void if another jeweller works on the piece or if the damage is caused by misuse rather than a fault. After the one-year period, repairs are quoted on a case-by-case basis.

We offer one free ring resizing for website purchases, within 30 days of purchase, with subsequent resizes charged at a set fee.

WHOLESALE
I accept Wholesale inquiries which can be directed to me.

PRIVACY POLICY

Anything related to your order, use of the Websites or these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of English and Wales. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the courts of England shall have the exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim relating to these Terms and Conditions.
