Grand Benitier sculptural ring is inspired by a trip to Mauritius.
When visiting a deserted beach with very strong waves, I realised the tide brought back many wonderful shells. I collected a few which I brought back with me.
Amongst them, some which always make me dream and evoke aquatic life and mermaids. I usually drew my "Sirenes" with these shells as a bra.
The giant version of these shells, grand benitier, is often seen in French churches where it is used to store holly water or to baptise chidren.
I therefore called my ring the Bénitier.
